Emma d’Arcey, Karen Spurgin and Penny Walsh each bring their own expertise to ao textiles: hand marbling, natural dyeing, mixed media, weave and embroidery. All three have a long history of working with the intricate complications of sustainable design.

The combination of their creative skills together with research and experience means, along with financial director, Spike Bouch they offer a bespoke service.

Their work reflects ao’s commitment to sustainability and continuing questioning the perceptions of luxury, recycling, and ethical and local production.
