for me contemporary design encompasses sustainability.

i love adapting traditional craft techniques and so for the past 9 years marbling methods dating back to the 16th century have captured my imagination. i have been able to stretch and adapt these processes both though technique and by using low impact and natural materials to produce cool modern shapes in multiple colours. i am passionate about exploring colour in design. my speciality is working with silk, innovating with new methods and techniques to enhance this fabric’s scope and appeal.
