Traces of nature

We love sharing knowledge and so regularly run masterclass workshops exploring how to create colour using natural dyes along with associated textile surface techniques. 

Celebrating the Spring / Summer season 2016 at Hauser & Wirth Somerset we ran an a one day masterclass workshop exploring eco printing, natural dyeing and Japanese Suminagashi marbling techniques on fabric.

Entitled ‘Traces of Nature,’ the vibrant Oudolf Field and surrounding countryside together with foraged flora and fauna provided inspiration to explore natural colouring techniques.
